Between Brisbane & Sydney in one of the most biodiverse regions of Australia, the Clarence Valley has an extraordinary range of landscapes; from World Heritage mountain rainforest & wilderness to wild rivers, wetlands & remote beaches.

You can visit us, where over 190 species of bird have been recorded, and help to find and monitor some of the Threatened Species at Gibraltar Reserve, such as Masked Owl, Sooty Owl, Glossy Black-Cockatoo, Koala or Brush-tailed Phascogale.

 

Paradise Riflebird is the southernmost Bird of Paradise, and can be found along with Regent Bowerbird, Logrunner, King Quail & Lewin's Rail, all resident breeding species. Wompoo Fruit-Dove, Grey & Brown Goshawk, Noisy Pitta, Green Catbird & Crested Shrike-Tit are resident at Gibraltar Reserve.
